====Point Queries==== **Point** queries are simplest and most common type of query used. They allow you to create a time series around just one asset (the 'point'). When you make a Point query, you choose the asset to base the point on, then the property you would like to show. For example, the below chart shows the value of **Stove #1 Temperature**. {{:grafana:pointsingle.png?400|}} You may also choose **All Analogs** or **All Discrete** as options for your property. This will return //multiple// channels. Note however that these channels may contain data in several different measurement units / scales. You can add Series Overrides in Grafana to help provide meaningful graphs in this case. {{:grafana:pointmultiple.png?400|}} The [[Current Point]] query type is very similar, but it only shows the //most recent// value for the property, regardless of the current query range.
