Organisational Asset
An organisational (or logical) asset is one that is used to organise and group your assets, rather than representing a specific piece of equipment.
For example, departments, plant areas and process stages are all examples of organisational assets.
In the following example…
Site > Pre-Processing > Screens and Filters > Primary Oversize Screen
The 'Primary Oversize Screen' is the physical asset - the other assets are simply used for organisational purposes.
Licensing Notes
Organisational assets are extremely useful - so useful in fact, that to encourage you to use them, they don't count to your license total.
As long as the asset doesn't have any properties, it's not counted to your current licensed usage.
