Ports
If you have a firewall, port level filtering or want to setup QoS, you might need to know the TCP ports that ARDI uses.
For an initial installation, there are two ports - port 80 (the standard HTTP port for the web interface) and port 8079 (the default live data port).
If you have multiple databases on your server, you may need to add more live data ports (8080+) to the list, as each new site will require a new live data port.
To determine the port number, go to Administration | Contexts and look at your Actual context. The port number will be the first of the two numbers shown.
In the example above, it's the default (8079).
Notes
Although port numbers are allocated to additional contexts (such as the Snapshot context shown above), they are not used. You do not need to open ports for these contexts, as currently ARDI doesn't support live data feeds for any context other than Actual.
The second port number is your submission port - it's used to allow drivers to deliver new information. If you plan on using drivers hosted on machines other than your server, you may also need to allow this port through your firewalls.
