Overall
Large Language Models are very good at coming up with scenarios such as identifying points of failure or highlighting potential issues in systems. As such, they make a great tool for creating templates for common types of engineering report.
In this example, we created a maintenance schedule, highlighting a number of possible inspections and preventative maintenance tasks we could adopt to improve the performance of our asset. The model chose to create this as a web-page so we could filter for various kinds of events (ie. daily, weekly, yearly etc.).
This is not a complete checklist, but a good starting point if you’re looking for ideas when setting up an improved maintenance schedule.
