ARDIs licenses and editions are limited and paid for based on the number of Active Assets you need.
But you might ask what an Active Asset actually is.
Basically, it’s any asset that has properties – information such as a serial number, temperature or other piece of captured knowledge.
Why charge for Active Assets instead of just using all of the assets you have?
In ARDI, anything can be an asset. They’re often used to help give your system structure – they let you organise your assets into systems and sections, create types and build hierarchies.
We don’t want to punish users for making sensible structures and good hierarchies – so we make sure that we don’t charge you for the assets you need to build them.
