ARDI Normalisation Engine
The ARDI Normalisation Engine is a common system in ARDI applications to handle the normalisation of data that is fed into analytics and - in particular - AI.
It has several key goals.
- To allow users to choose how - and if - data is normalised,
- Help to normalise data in a consistent manner,
- Allow discrete values to be split into several distinct channels rather than treating them as analogue measurements,
- Improve compatibility by negotiating between old and new input and output formats.
In most cases, users only interact with the Normalisation Engine through Normalisation Formats, which are text descriptions of exactly how your data should be normalised.
There are several basic normalisation formats, and the more advanced per-channel normalisation formats.
