Saving Shortcut Camera Positions
In some cases, users don't have access to a mouse to properly navigate the 3D environment. They might also be unfamiliar with the control for ARDI-VE, or have accessibility issues.
We've introduced shortcut camera positions to help in these situations.
You can connect saved cameras to the numeric keys at the top of the keyboard, so that simply pressing '1' will go to a specific view, while '2' goes to another.
When you save a camera in ARDI-VE, adding a number between 0 and 9 in square brackets (for instance 'Main Oven [1]') will immediately link it to the associated number (in this case, the '1' key).
Sequencing
This feature works particularly well if your process is linear or follows a predictable path.
By placing cameras at the start of your process on the left hand side (ie. 1 & 2) and moving across the process to the end (ie. 9 & 0), users have an organic understanding of roughly where they'll end up if they press a particular button.
