UseSSL
The UseSSL function is part of the HMIPanel class in the ARDI Javascript API.
You use the function before calling ConnectTo to force the system to use SSL when communicating with the ARDI server.
This function normally isn't needed for any visualisation that will be hosted on the ARDI server - the API will automatically use SSL if the page was loaded securely.
However, there are cases - such as when you are distributing an image as an SVG file - when your file is opened in an insecure environment.
Adding this function ensures that your live data will be accessed securely. It can also help negotiate access problems through firewalls, as SSL-based live data goes through the standard web port.
