The Interface
The icons at the top and bottom corners of the screen are used to access different ARDI-AR features, such as connecting, recent scans, pins, maps and searching.
Scanning a Tag
Scanning a tag is extremely simple. Once you're connected to a server, simply hold the phone up in 'landscape' orientation (ie. the screen should be wide and not tall) and look at one of your AR tags.
The asset should be automatically recognised and information should appear on your device.

Troubleshooting
Having some problems scanning? Here are a couple of tips….
- Move closer to the tag if you can. Although AR tags read from much longer distances than other types of marker, distance is still your worst enemy.
- Avoid glare. If there are bright highlights on the tag that prevent you from seeing the black, the tag won't be readable. Try moving to the left or right to avoid bright reflections.
- If your tag is in a dark area, try to avoid standing in a bright one - move into a darker or more shadowed area.
- Ensure the tag isn't warped or damaged. AR tags need to be relatively flat to be recognised correctly.
