3D Infographics Are Coming to ARDI
As well as being able to view your data displayed inside your equipment in ARDI-VE, you’ll also be able to add a new dimension to your web-based displays – 3D is coming in the next release of our Infographic addon in ARDI.
Like all of our visualisation addons, the focus is on giving you flexibility, along with taking full advantage of the advantages of ARDI as a platform.
Using the powerful foundation of Three.js, 3D infographics allow you to create your own, custom three-dimensional data visualisations that are dynamic, interactive, animated and run on a variety of devices across multiple platforms, including mobile phones.
Examples
3D Bar Chart
A 3D bar chart doesn’t actually let you see any more data, but it’s visually striking and engaging for your audience to use. Plus it’s an excellent way to learn the basics of using Three.js for data visualisation.
3D Surface Chart
Surface charts allow you to get real value out of 3D, by being able to view a three-dimensional problem in three dimensions. In this case, we can see time, current and voltage all in the one visualisation.
