Sculpting

Note that this is part 2 of our tutorial – you may need to start at the beginning.

Now it’s time to start Blender and begin the creation of our 3D model.

The Youtube video will show you the basics of sculpting our 3D shape in Blender.

Using Blender is a complex topic and is covered in much more detail (and much better) in other documentation. We’d suggest being comfortable with how Blender works before you create your own model, but you’re welcome to pick up some basics from the video.

You can also purchase a range of 3D models from online stores, such as Turbosquid and CGTrader – some are even free to download, although do remember to check the permissions for free models.

Once you’ve created (or obtained) your 3D model, it’s time to make sure they are UV Mapped
