Bringing Data Into ARDI

Drivers are small pieces of software that allow ARDI to communicate to a wide variety of different types of data source.

We offer a range of pre-made drivers that allow you to connect with various different kinds of information sources, including traditional databases, industrial historians, SCADA systems, IoT systems, cloud services and more.

Although we have quite a few pre-made drivers, it’s impossible for us to write drivers that connect to everything. There will always be times when your source of data is…

• Cutting edge, brand new or unique to you,
• Elderly equipment with very little modern support,
• Very informal, such as folders of text/Excel files,
• From a system that is not used in a consistent way

This is why we provide the tools to build your own drivers or modify our existing drivers to better suit your needs. This way you can not only bring together data from the specific tools you use, but they can adapt to the way you use them.
