No. ARDI – by itself – doesn’t have the capability to record your ‘live’ data. ARDIs built-in storage is only for your static information (information that doesn’t change quickly over time), such as model and serial numbers, asset IDs etc.

ARDI isn’t designed to be where your data is stored – it’s a central place where your data can beĀ found. We connect to your existing recording system, if you have one.

However, in small applications where you don’t have any existing databases, you can use ARDI to send data to a time-series historian. We suggest Prometheus, as it’s simple, fast, open-source and works well with ARDI.
