Sankey Live Flow Infographics

Overall

If you have a flow of energy or product through your process, it’s often very useful to be able to visualise how that energy or product is being distributed through your system.

Useful for any flow but particularly strong when looking at electricity and gas, sankey charts allow you to see exactly where you’re experiencing losses or high amounts of usage.

Example

The example shown details the power flow through our AC Power circuit, from the incoming power meter to the various drives and heavy machines around the plant.

Like many ARDI visualisations, this is created dynamically – if new devices are added to AC power in ARDI, they will immediately appear in this diagram with no additional work needed.

The power usage stays relatively stable most of the time, although you may occasionally see the Entry Accumulator drives turn on and begin to draw power.
