Chromebook Security Certificates

This page shows how to install our SSL Certificates on your Chromebook device, so you can access ARDI servers securely.

This step can be skipped by using your own certificate, or by rolling out the Optrix certificates through tools such as Group Policy (Windows), MDM (iOS) or other systems for managing enterprise devices.

Make sure you’ve downloaded the SSL certificate files before we begin.

1) In your Chrome browser, type chrome://settings in the address bar.

2) In HTTP/SSL Settings click the Manage Certificates button.

3) Click Authorities, then press the Import button.

4) Select the CA Certificate you downloaded earlier.

5) When prompted, make sure Trust this certificate for identifying websites is checked.

6) Repeat, the above steps, this time with the intermediate certificate instead.
