SSL Certificates

SSL certificates are used to protect websites. They verify that the server is genuinely the server it says it is, and it also allows you to encrypt all of the communication between your browser and your ARDI server.

Your ARDI license includes what is known as a self-signed certificate. This is a security certificate that Optrix has created and is included with your ARDI license. It allows you improve security, and to take advantage of several web features that only work on SSL-protected web sites.

However, self-signed certificates have one limitation – your device won’t consider your site secure unless you’ve downloaded and installed the root and intermediate certificates below.
