Securing ARDI

Since ARDI 2022, every new ARDI license includes SSL certificate to help you access your ARDI data and take advantage of web technologies that require a high level of website security.

To use it, you’ll need to install our security certificates on the devices that access your ARDI server, or provide your own SSL certificate.

ARDI also offers a number of user-security options, such as Active Directory authentication. These allow you to integrate ARDI into your existing sign-on system, avoiding the need for learning extra passwords and making user management simple.

Apart from SSL, ARDI itself uses several open source platforms that provide a wide range of security options, including IP whitelisting and blacklisting, security headers, or using a Web Application Firewall such as ModSec/ModSecurity.
